Along the way, we’ll craft a dramatic visual story of daily life at Hanoi’s oldest market.

Get off the tourist trail and experience true lowland life in Ninh Binh province. We’ll enjoy some of the area’s most iconic activities, including a longboat ride at Tam Coc and a climb to Hang Mua Peak, but our main focus will be craft villages producing stonework and handbuilt ceramics, and images of classical rural life.

Enjoy a captivating night photography tour where enthusiasts of all levels can hone their skills and capture the authentic vibe of Hanoi’s street life. We venture into Hanoi’s most famous century-old night market, where you’ll learn techniques for night photography with exciting compositions. We’ll be rubbing shoulders with the locals in the brightly-lit market, traders, couriers and customers barging between the stalls. There’s a great deal to discover, with exotic fruit stalls, workers unloading trucks, and a fish market with some very talkative traders. It all makes for a unique, evocative travel experience, offering a rich variety of images.
Follow the rice paper trail on the banks of the Red River
Step back in time at Tho Ha village, a traditional Red River community renowned for its ancient architecture and rice paper products. In charming backstreets, we’ll explore busy workshops, and photograph bamboo frames stacked with drying rice paper. Along the way, we’ll produce a stunning pictorial narrative of this unforgettable and authentically Vietnamese village.
Cross the coastal mountain pass, before exploring life at Lang Co Lagoon
We head for the hills between Danang and Hue, on a photographic adventure through the clouds. Capture epic landscapes from one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking journeys, stopping off along the way to document authentic local life. At Lang Co Lagoon, we have an up close encounter with fishing communities that have plied their trade here for generations.
Get off the beaten tracks on Hanoi’s lesser-known train street
You’ll explore city life beside the rails, bustling alleyway markets, and the morning’s activities at Reunification Park.
