Phuong is a photographer and writer based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Specializing in documentary photography, her work can be found in major national media outlets such as VnExpress, Saigoneer, and Travellive.

She holds a BA in International Relations from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences, and has a passion for cultural exchange and understanding. Her published stories – in both Vietnamese and English – have focused on topics such as coastal Whale-Worshiping communities, traditional craftsmanship in Hoi An, and life in secluded mountain villages in Ha Giang. She has also been awarded prizes for her photography, in particular from Heritage magazine.

Phuong considers photography a uniquely powerful medium for visual storytelling, believing that the beauty of a photo lies in its authenticity and its impact on viewer awareness and emotion. She has been leading photo tours for Vietnam in Focus since 2024.
