Ka Xiong is a talented photographer and budding filmmaker based in Luang Prabang, Laos. His compelling work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions, including the 2nd Biennale Internationale de l’Image in Luang Prabang (2010) and Photoquai 2011 in Paris, as part of the 3rd Biennale des Images du Monde. In 2012, Ka was honored as one of five emerging photographers selected from countries along the Mekong River to showcase his art at the Phnom Penh Photo Festival. His photography reflects a deep connection to the culture, landscapes, and people of Southeast Asia, capturing their stories with sensitivity and authenticity.
